Crossroads Animal Hospital - Gordonsville, Virginia
Metzger Design was retained to design and build a new animal hospital for a local doctor who had identified Zion's Crossroads and an under-served market in Central Virginia.
The design of the clinic is primarily focused on the central treatment room with easy access to surgical and radiation suites. The front of house space is well defined with a spacious and inviting reception area with three exam rooms conveniently located along the main entry hallway. With future expansion in mind, the kennel was designed with the potential to board animals for short periods and also with an opportunity to build additional space within the second floor attic structure.
Metzger Design strived for an aesthetic that was residential in nature to provide a warm and hospitable atmosphere to pets and owners alike.
